AAJA-LA members turned out in force to support the Los Angeles Dodgers on Thursday, July 30, resulting in a sold-out night for the chapter. We loved having our members join us, both new and old. It was truly wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout from our AAJA-LA community.
The energy at Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium was electric as we gathered to watch the boys in blue take on the Seattle Mariners. The game itself didn’t disappoint, with the Dodgers clinching a 6-2 victory over the Mariners. But beyond the final score, the atmosphere in our section was the real highlight.
Many of our members are serious Dodgers fans and they donned blue jerseys for the game. Networking was in full swing throughout the evening. We were also thrilled to have members of the AAJA Sports Task Force join us, adding to the great conversations and connections being made.
One of the most heartwarming parts of the night was welcoming several members who were experiencing the magic of Dodger Stadium for the very first time. Sharing that “first game” milestone with our AAJA family made the evening even more special.
Thank you to everyone who came out to make this networking night such a success. Special thanks to AAJA-LA member and Dodgers announcer Stephen Nelson for connecting our organization with the Dodgers to get group tickets.
We can’t wait to see you all at the next AAJA-LA event!
