It’s October, which means it’s time for AAJA-LA’s annual Trivia Bowl fundraiser.
This year, Trivia Bowl will be held on Friday, October 17 at the Nishi Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Little Tokyo. More than 30 teams will take part, from news organizations like the Los Angeles Times, New York Times, ABC7 and LAist to nonprofit partners such as AJSOCAL and the Japanese American Bar Assn., to universities and corporate partners.
This year, Trivia Bowl’s title sponsor is East West Bank, a first-time attendee.
Trivia Bowl began in 1994 and has been the primary way for AAJA-LA to raise money for its scholarship, grant and internship programs offered throughout the year. Over the years, the fun has expanded to include an online and live auction as well as an on-site raffle.
