California AAJA chapters come together for mega-mixer at national convention

The Asian American Journalist Association National Convention was held in Seattle this year — the perfect location for ALL of the AAJA chapters in California to host a mega-mixer.

For the first time in a very long time, AAJA members from San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Sacramento came together in place to eat, drink and reconnect!

The San Diego chapter came out of a 5-year hiatus just before the convention, drawing people from the southernmost part of California to the event.

The event was organized by AAJA-LA board member Sona Patel. She connected with all the chapters and used her Seattle ties to host the event at Elephant & Castle.

Members grabbed bites to eat, had some drinks and reconnected with friends across California.
