AAJA-LA mourns the loss of L.A. Times senior podcast producer Liyna Anwar, who fought an aggressive form of leukemia for more than a year. Liyna was instrumental in producing the new L.A. Times podcast “Asian Enough” and sought to amplify underrepresented voices throughout her journalism career. Liyna was 30.
