More than 30 AAJA-LA members came together at the Angel City Brewery in downtown LA for a summer mixer.
The event was held a few weeks after the national Asian American Journalist Association convention in Seattle to reconnect people who went to the convention and to bring people who couldn’t go together.
The event was organized by AAJA-LA members Ben Pu and Adrienne Zulueta.
At Angel City Brewery, attendees enjoyed some appetizers and drinks. People who haven’t been to an AAJA-LA event before dropped by, and members who haven’t been able to take part in chapter events in a long time were able to reconnect.
